2020...VISION?

WOW! What a year! Everybody started the year out saying “2020 is the year of VISION.” Many have decided that this year has become just a CRAPPY year.

I actually think that this IS a year of VISION. As individuals, I believe we have learned and are learning just how resilient God created us to be. We are also being shown just how not in control we really are.

We are finding new ways to be creative in worshiping God, in business, MUSIC, acting, dancing, sports, producing content, connecting with one another, listening to one another, teaching our children…and the list goes on and on.

We are finding out that we are not that great at loving one another…that we can be pretty self-ish. And at the same time we are powerful and beautiful when we come together to fight for one another in love. This nation, this world has shown us GOD’s LOVE through prayer, friends, family, protests, music, the dedication of healthcare workers and ALL of the frontline workers.

We have watched human beings suffer immense loss. We have watched family , friends, strangers, different races, different nations step up to support, help and grieve with one another. Unfortunately, our eyes have also been opened to the tremendous amount of evil and hate that lives among us.

Now, the questions is how do we move forward. How do we become better human beings. How do we use the gifts we’ve been blessed with to heal a hurting world. How do we turn our new talents, our new hobbies, our grief, our pain, our new awareness of just how broken this world is into LOVE’S hands and feet. How do we turn this crappy 2020 into a year of ACTED UPON VISION.
